Maria
Laughner is the Business and Real Estate
Development Manager for the Economic
Development Services Dept. Ms. Laughner
has spent fifteen years in marketing and
business development management in
various industries including
biotechnology, health care, education,
manufacturing, consumer products and
client services. Her career highlights
include tenure with the Arizona
Department of Commerce where she
launched the state’s bioscience identity
and provided assistance to dozens of
companies looking to relocate or expand
to Arizona. Ms. Laughner earned a BA
from Marquette University, an MS from
New York University, and an MBA in
International Management from the
Thunderbird School of Global Management.
She is fully bilingual in English and
Spanish.
