Peoria - A Great Place to Live
DemographicsPeoria is one of the fastest growing cities in Arizona almost doubling its population size during the 10-year period between 1995 and 2005. This rapid population growth in Peoria and the surrounding metropolitan area has resulted in an abundant labor force that boasts an educated labor pool that is younger than the national average. Although more than half of Peoria’s residents have more than one year of college education, the area is home to a wide range of workers, including traditional blue-collar workers, skilled and unskilled workers and professionals in a wide variety of fields.
