Review Process
Grand Avenue/Peoria Holdings, LLC Phase I is a 10,000 sf mixed-use
project. Zoning was approved by Council. Developer is ready to move
forward and is getting bids for demolition.
Peoria Place was sold. The new owner is a partnership with Steve Robson
and the Ellman Companies. They plan to start construction on Cotton
Crossing by July 2008.
Triad Steel will be relocating their facility from Wickenburg to Peoria.
This company fabricates and erects structural steel. Their facility in
Peoria will be approximately 50,000 sf. They are currently working with
ADOC regarding the process for the enterprise zone. Staff will continue
to work with both throughout the process.
Projects - Under Construction
The Chili Davis Baseball training facility will be 30,000 sf and
construction has commenced. Opening is planned for Summer 2008.
Park West (Loop 101 and Northern), is a 55 acre – mixed
use site. The City extended the GGP phase 1 (150,000 sf of retail) time
frame to May 2008. Several stores have opened and the developer has
worked diligently to get better tenants.
Projects - Complete
The Empire Business Park is a build-to-suit project at Cactus Rd. and 91st Ave. Refrigeration Supply and
Pima Doors is open. In total, they represent 80,000 sf and 200 new
jobs. An add'l 119,000 sf of new speculative space is available.
