Peoria's Economic Development Mission Statement
To grow and diversify Peoria’s economic base and improve the quality of life, culture, and business climate for residents and businesses.
The Economic Development Department for the City of Peoria was created by City Council and the Mayor to accomplish two things:
1. Provide assistance to businesses that are interested in locating in the City and
2. Develop and pursue a smart growth plan to diversify the City’s economy and landscape.
The dedicated staff is available to act as your primary liaison with the City and will facilitate your development efforts.
