TESTIMONIALS

“As a fast-growing light manufacturing and distribution company we needed more space at a better rate. We settled on our present site in Peoria because of its proximity to the Loop 101, the flexibility of the developer to meet our needs, and the help of the City of Peoria to make our transition very smooth and very quick. We broke ground on April 1, 2001 and moved into our 110,000 square foot facility 6 months later! Our experience in Peoria has been very positive.”

“I have built five office projects in Peoria and am currently working on several other developments. The City is committed to finding the best ways to streamline all of their services to make Peoria the best place to live, work, and play. Simply put, I chose Peoria because the City gets it.”

Shelley Bade – Commercial Real Estate Broker and Developer
SL Bade and Associates, LLC

We chose to build in Peoria because the city provided us the best combination of factors and locale to attract customers from the entire west side of the Phoenix Metro area. The Economic Development Department was highly responsive to our needs and helped us make the project feasible and buildable as the first solar-powered LEED certified luxury car dealership in the United States. It was only with their help facilitating and coordinating city services that this complex environmentally-sustainable project could be started and completed within one year.

For nearly three decades, the City of Peoria and the Plaza Companies have worked as partners to develop the single largest health care community in Arizona, Plaza del Rio. This 185-acre health care-focused community is nearly built-out, and it would not have been possible without the City’s commitment to health, wellness and community development. The City truly views developers as Community partners and actively engages their projects providing valuable assistance with infrastructure improvements and other vital services. The Plaza Companies is extremely proud to call the City of Peoria “home,” just as we have done for more than 26 years.
