Alicia Engel is a Program Coordinator for the Economic Development Services Department. Her primary focus is to implement strategic marketing communications programs that attract business, investment and talent to the City of Peoria. She resolves technical administrative and operational issues for the department and supports workforce development initiatives.

Alicia brings more than 20 years of program management expertise in sales operations and marketing communications to economic development. Past experiences include: launching undergraduate career development services, driving non-profit alumni association membership growth, enhancing employee engagement as a management consultant, and leading Fortune 500 global, cross-functional project teams to improve client and customer outcomes.

A certified Agile Development Product Manager/Owner, Alicia holds a Master of Global Management (a Global MBA) from ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, a Master of Arts in Education from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Arizona.
