The City of Peoria is excited to continue its partnership with Grand Canyon University’s (GCU) Colangelo College of Business in offering the GCU Entrepreneur Training Program - exclusive to Peoria-based entrepreneurs and residents.
What is the GCU Entrepreneur Training Program?
A free, 15-week hands-on training initiative that provides the tools, resources, and expert guidance needed to innovate, scale, and thrive in today's competitive business environment. Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to receive funding to grow their venture.
What are the Benefits?
The GCU Entrepreneur Training Program offers several key benefits to Peoria-based entrepreneurs and small business owners:
- Expert Guidance and Mentorship: Participants will receive personalized mentorship and resources from industry experts, helping them navigate the challenges of growing their businesses.
- Hands-On Training: The program provides a practical, hands-on approach to business development, covering key stages from innovation to scaling, which can help entrepreneurs refine their business models and enhance their chances of success.
- Opportunities for Funding: The program culminates in Demo Days, offering participants the chance to pitch their businesses to potential investors and compete for cash prizes.
- Tailored to Local Businesses: The program is specifically designed for Peoria-based businesses, including home-based businesses, which are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to scale and innovate.
- Networking and Collaboration: By participating in this program, entrepreneurs will be able to collaborate with peers, share experiences, and build a supportive network within the local business community.
