Downtown:  A Transformation in Progress

Downtown Peoria is undergoing a vibrant transformation, with opportunities for mixed-use development, boutique retail, restaurants and creative office space. This is a great location for businesses looking to be part of Peoria's cultural and economic resurgence.

The Downtown district is a priority revitalization mixed-use project offering a blend of professional employment development, specialty dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities. The area encompasses the historic townsite area at 83rd and Washington Avenues and is the heart of the City of Peoria.

To spur development, the city has purchased multiple properties and is partnering with key retailers and restaurants from across the Phoenix metro area to bring new ideas and concepts to this key district. Projects in and around downtown will drive foot traffic, and each new project is multiplying growth.
